Turmeric Golden Chai
Turmeric has long been touted as a superfood; thanks to its compound curcumin that is known to have health promoting properties. Other compounds that are present in turmeric are volatile oils, potassium, omega-3 fatty acids, linolenic acids, proteins, carbohydrates, fibres, which provide this spice with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, anti-microbial and thermogenic properties. Not only does this spice help in keep your body healthy, it also helps in losing weight.
Ingredients: Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger Root, Black Pepper
Brew like tea: 1-2 teaspoons of tea for 12oz cup of boiling water. Steep 5+min.
Brew by boiling: boil 4 cups of water and add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Turmeric Golden Chai. Allow the mixture to simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Strain the tea into a container and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
